Coway air purifier picks up a CES Innovation Award
Coway's air purifier was named an honoree in the Innovation Awards at the 2021 CES trade show.
The CES Innovation Awards program, sponsored by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), is an annual competition honoring outstanding design and engineering in consumer technology products.
Coway’s air purifier, model name AP-1019D, won the award in the home appliances category.
This marks the sixth consecutive year that Coway has won an Innovation Award since its first participation in 2016, according to the company.
Being recognized for its innovative technology, the air purifier allows customers to customize purifying patterns from four settings — fine dust filter, yellow dust filter, formaldehyde filter and plus deodorization filter. Coway said it was designed to reflect the various living conditions of customers.
“The CES Innovation Awards acknowledge the most innovative technology and we are honored to be an honoree for six consecutive years,” Song Hyun-joo, head of the product innovation center at Coway, said in a statement Wednesday.
“Coway will continue bringing meaningful experiences for our consumers with our products and strengthen global competitiveness.”
