Soprano Sumi Jo and pop star Rain will collaborate on the theme song for “Universe,” a mobile K-pop fan activity platform launched last month by the Korean online game giant NCSoft.
According to KLAP, an entertainment subsidiary of NCSoft, on Tuesday, the track will be released on Feb. 9. The title of the song is yet to be announced.

Popular K-pop artists including Kang Daniel, Monsta X, The Boyz and (G)I-DLE have joined to provide exclusive videos and songs for the platform. The app also offers a “Private Call” service using speech synthesis to emulate having a phone call with an artist.
“Universe” launched on Jan. 28 in 134 countries. Eighty-percent of its users are from outside of Korea.
