Park Hyatt Seoul
Through March 14: The Lounge, the 24th-floor Korean tea house at Park Hyatt Seoul, presents Strawberry Afternoon Tea, a creative celebration of the return of strawberry season. Inspiring menu highlights include strawberry chocolate cups, strawberry yoghurt mousse and Mont Blancs, while strawberry jewelry in an elegant jewelry case, a favorite item of 2020, returns to charm guests for another year. Afternoon tea features a selection of teas, coffees and sparkling rosé wine, accompanied by stunning urban views through floor-to-ceiling glass windows, conjuring the perfect afternoon ambience. It is available from noon until 5:30 p.m. daily, with each sitting lasting two hours from reservation time. Strawberry Afternoon Tea is priced at 55,000 won ($49) per person (including tax; no service charge applies. Minimum order: two guests).
Savory items and desserts served at afternoon tea are presented on a unique Park Hyatt Seoul three-tier tray, inspired by traditional Korean aesthetics. A diverse selection of desserts presents creative interpretations of organic strawberries. The strawberry chocolate cups are a highlight, featuring chocolate cups filled with vanilla cream, strawberries and tangy fresh berries. The strawberry yoghurt mousse is crafted in the shape of a strawberry, adding visual pleasure to an irresistible dessert. Strawberry Monts Blancs, meringue cookies and berry puffs and crispy bread topped with strawberry slices are all infused with the aroma of ripe strawberries, while strawberry jewelry, the signature Strawberry Afternoon Tea dessert served in an elegant jewelry case, adds a final layer of surprise. A choice of jewel-like desserts for every taste is available, inviting the perfect selfie. Savory items, served in generous portions, include squid ink chips with strawberry gochujang sauce, pastrami and onion sandwiches, mini tarts with smoked salmon and prawn and brandade croquettes.
Strawberry Afternoon Tea is served with a variety of premium teas and coffees. Sweet-scented strawberry and omija (five-flavor berry) teas and aromatic Early Grey perfectly complement the flavors of the dessert and savory menus, while a complimentary glass of sparkling rosé wine further elevates a unique afternoon experience. All afternoon tea set menu items are subject to change in accordance with the daily availability of ingredients.

Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas
Through April 30: Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas in Samseong-dong, southern Seoul, announced its “Petit Atelier Package” that will be offered until April 30 to allow guests to enjoy a unique experience with their children in a room warmly decorated to look like a cozy attic. Since it is not easy to travel long distances these days, the hotel has come up with this fanciful hideout for kids where they can let their imagination loose by watching birds and stars through the windows while lying inside a Native American-themed tent and create drawings with fine art tools prepared for the guests.

The rooms offered for the Petit Atelier Package have diagonally placed windows, which fill them with warm sunlight during the day and allow guests to look up at the star-studded sky at night. The floor is covered with a foldable antibacterial mat from mat brand “Parklon” so that children can feel free to jump around. An air purifier is also available to promote safety. Below the sky-facing windows are Native American-themed tents and couches for infants, and the package comes with a fine art tool set in a wooden case from infant fine art tool brand “Dream Art,” along with some coloring sheets. A bubble cleanser from cleansing brand “Kefii” is placed in the bathroom so children can enjoy playing with bubbles during their bath. Amenities for kids, including a bath robe and slippers, are available free of charge.
Equipped with 11 private rooms that offer a comfortable breakfast experience, the Grand Kitchen serves a sumptuous menu for three-member families (two adults and a child aged under 12). Also, a specially prepared “I Bear” is included in the package as a gift and makes the whole experience even more memorable.
The Petit Atelier Package is limited to three rooms a day, and guests can choose between a king bed or two double beds. The King Bed Deluxe Room is available from 326,700 won and the Double Bed Deluxe Room from 387,200 won. (Tax and service charge included). Hotel membership members, including I Choice Members, can avail of a 10-percent reduced rate.
