Showplay signs management contracts with top three 'Sing Again' contestants

The top three contestants of the popular JTBC singing audition program “Sing Again” signed contracts with show production company Showplay and will kick off concert tours from next month, the company announced on Thursday.

But the names of those lucky contestants won't be revealed until the show's next episode on Feb. 8. The top six contestants are Jung Hong-il, Yoari, Lee Jung-kwon, Lee Mu-jin, Lee Seung-yoon and Lee So-jung.

Showplay will be responsible for the singers’ management for a year and plans to host the “Sing Again Top 10 Concert Tour” from next month to July.

The top 10 contestants, the aforementioned six as well as Kim Joon-hwi, Choi Ye-geun, Yumi and Taeho, will also join the concert tour.

“We will continue the craze over ‘Sing Again,’ which drew much praise from viewers by presenting a new genre of audition programs, through the tour,” Showplay said in an official statement.

“Sing Again,” which kicked off last November, is an audition program which only casts singers who have had at least one song or album officially released in their name.

According to Nielsen Koreanclick, the most recent viewership rating exceeded 10 percent while accumulated online views surpassed 17 million.
