Over-the-top service Watcha announced Tuesday that actors Park Jung-min, Son Suk-ku, Choi Hee-seo and Lee Je-hoon will participate in creating Watcha's original content, as part of the “Unframed Project.”

The project allows actors to take on the role of director, each writing scripts and directing scenes. The project is the four actors’ first time challenging themselves to directing.

Film production company Hardcut will be in charge of production.

“We are glad to break away from formulaic customs and try something new,” said Watcha via a statement.

“Through the Unframed Project, we will be able to see what we’ve been taking for granted in our everyday lives, and see stories highlighting relationships and emotions we’ve been missing out on.”

“We think this is an opportunity for the participating actors to go beyond acting and expand their artistic world to the new field of directing,” said Hardcut.

Watcha will start creating original content in earnest through the Unframed Project. Filming under the project will finish within this year and will be released exclusively on Watcha this coming December.
