“Ways of Garden,” a new documentary film by Jeong Jae-eun, who is well-known for films “Talking Architect”(2012) and “Take Care of My Cat” (2001), is now on view at Piknic, a cultural space on the slope of Mount Namsan in central Seoul. The film consists of contemplative views of gardens in various types of weather and of the gardeners’ labor.

The film is part of the exhibition “GARDEN ING,” which is comprised of artwork inspired by gardens and the photos and drawings of gardens made by artists and authors such as the film director Derek Jarman (1942-1994), as well as famous garden designers and architects such as Gertrude Jekyll (1843-1932) and Piet Oudolf.

The exhibit also includes the rooftop garden designed by Korea’s pioneering garden designer and horticulturist Jung Young-sun, famous for Seonyudo Park in Seoul and Hee Won, the garden of Hoam Art Museum in Gyeonggi province.

The exhibition runs through Oct. 24. Admission is 18,000 won ($16). Reservation in advance is required. For more information, visit www.piknic.kr.
