Two members of the LG Twins cheerleading team have tested positive for Covid-19, the club reported Monday.

According to LG, two members of the contracted cheerleading staff tested positive for Covid-19 on Saturday.

The 27 other members of the cheering staff have since been tested and no other cases have been reported. Anybody classified as coming in close contact with the infected staff are quarantining in line with government guidelines.

In a message sent to ticket holders for upcoming games, LG said that fans are still allowed to attend games, but if they want to cancel they will be able to do so without the normal cancellation charges.

Under government social distancing guidelines, baseball stadiums are currently permitted to sell tickets for up to 10 percent of the stadiums capacity. At LG's home Jamsil Baseball Stadium, that means about 2,500 seats in the 25,500-seat stadium are available for each game.

The LG squad is entirely unaffected. LG will host the Lotte Giants at Jamsil in southern Seoul for a three-game series starting Tuesday. LG currently top the table while Lotte are tied for seventh.
