SM Entertainment announced Wednesday that it will be launching the annual “SMile Music Festival,” a project that supports young people in developing their musical dreams.

The festival is part of the entertainment conglomerate’s social responsibility project that began in 2015.

Vocal teams, bands or dance groups of five or fewer people aged between 14 to 19 are eligible to apply for the event.

Groups applying should have been active either at schools, institutions or organizations for at least five months.

The selected teams will be provided various training including online-based vocal or dance lessons for three months, and will also be given various equipment to create online content and so on. The teams will also be given opportunities to shoot professional profile photographs and a chance to promote the group.

Those eligible can apply through the festival’s website (smilesmf.kr) until July 19.
