Naver to offer secure delivery via Valex Expert Cargo

Naver is working with Valex Expert Cargo for the delivery of high-value packages, the e-commerce company said Tuesday.

Valex specializes in secure logistics for valuable goods, such as cash and jewelry. It was founded by Han Baig-soo in 1997. Nowadays, it provides customers with a secure delivery system and lets customers choose the exact time and place for delivery. Deliverers can be tracked through GPS.

The collaboration will start with delivery of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 FE, which will soon be made available, to customers who place orders for the smart device through Wednesday. Delivery will start on Friday.

Naver will hold a live shopping event at 8 p.m. on Wednesday. A lucky draw will be used to pick customers who will get their tablets delivered to their doorsteps at Thursday midnight, the release time of the new model.

Its agreement with Valex is part of the NFA (Naver Fulfillment Alliance), an initiative that connects small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with fulfillment services for start-ups. The NFA was started on July 12.

Naver is in talks with other sellers to introduced them to the secure delivery service and other NFA options.
