BTS’s hits “Dynamite” (2020) and “Butter” (2021) have both earned platinum certifications. The British Phonographic Industry (BPI) certified the boy band’s first English-lyric song “Dynamite” platinum on Saturday.

방탄소년단의 히트곡 “다이너마이트” (2020)와 “버터” (2021)가 둘 다 플래티넘 인증을 받았다. 방탄소년단의 첫 영어곡 “다이너마이트”는 토요일 영국음악산업협회로부터 플래티넘 인증을 받았다.

The BPI takes into account the number of downloads, streams and physical album sales to certify songs. Two-hundred thousand copies is equivalent to silver, 600 thousand copies is platinum while 1.2 million copies is multi-platinum.

영국음악산업협회는 다운로드와 재생 횟수, 실물 앨범 판매량을 고려하여 20만장 이상은 실버, 40만장 이상은 골드, 60만장 이상은 플래티넘, 120만장 이상은 멀티 플래티넘으로 각 곡을 인증한다.

“Dynamite” was released in August of 2020 and reached No. 3 on the UK Singles Chart, the highest rank achieved by BTS on the chart.

2020년 8월에 발매된 “다이너마이트”는 영국 오피셜 싱글 차트에서 방탄소년단 곡으로는 최고 순위인 3위에 올랐다.

“Butter” surpassed 100 million streams and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of Japan on Tuesday, only 72 days after it dropped in May; the fastest record in the association’s history.

“버터는” 재생 1억회를 돌파하여, 지난 5월이었던 발매일로부터 72일만인 화요일에 일본 레코드협회로부터 플래티넘 인증을 받았다. 이는 레코드협회 사상 최단기록이다.

Every month, the association announces a list of songs that have been certified based on the accumulated number of streams: silver for 30 million, gold for 50 million, platinum for 100 million and diamond for 500 million.
