This year’s MAMA to be held in Korea

The ceremony for the Mnet Asian Music Awards, also known as MAMA, will be held in Korea this year. The event will take place at CJ ENM Contents Studio in Gyeonggi on Dec. 11.

MAMA, which is hosted by CJ ENM and started in 1999, has been held in many different cities across the world since 2010 to connect K-pop stars to global fans.

Many global artists like Stevie Wonder, Quincy Jones, Dua Lipa and Snoop Dogg have performed.

The lineup for this year’s event has not yet been announced. CJ ENM said the concert can act as a chance to refresh the sluggish music scene and society overall due to the pandemic.
