Boy band T1419 has become the first Korean artist to be invited to the Monitor Music Awards 2021, a prestigious music awards in Latin America, its agency MLD Entertainment said on Thursday.

The band will attend the ceremony on Sunday and perform "Flex,” the lead track of its third EP "Before Sunrise Part. 3" which dropped in August.

The Monitor Music Awards is hosted by Latin America’s largest music chart Monitor Latino and centers around Latin American pop music. The ceremony will be aired in 20 nations in Latin America.

This year's ceremony is set to take place simultaneously in four locations: Miami in the United States, Guadalajara in Mexico, Puerto Rico and Punta Cana in the Dominican Republic.

Latinx fans of T1419 are welcoming the announcement on Monitor Latino’s social media accounts. T1419 debuted in January of this year with the EP "Before Sunrise Part. 1."
