[Living Tradition] Historical harvesting

The Cultural Heritage Administration announced on Oct. 20 in its official gazette the planned addition of "tidal flat harvesting” onto the National Intangible Cultural Heritage list. Tidal flat harvesting encompasses traditional knowledge and skills, communal practices and the rites associated with collecting invertebrates in the tidal flats along the western and southern coasts of the Korean Peninsula.
