The Constitutional Court on Thursday dismissed the ruling Democratic Party (DP) impeachment of former conservative judge Lim Seong-guen for alleged intervention in the trial of a Japanese journalist over his report about former President Park Geun-hye actions during the Sewol ferry sinking. Lim was found not guilty in criminal trials but the DP impeached him even after he retired, apparently to shame him. [PARK YONG-SEOK]
