Gmarket Global, which markets to foreigners, is holding a sale
Gmarket Global, a shopping site that markets to foreigners, is holding a sale through Nov. 12.
Gmarket Global is Gmarket’s shopping site for non-Koreans both inside and outside of Korea. The site is available in English and Chinese.
Items on sale for the Mega G Festival include cosmetics, apparel, daily necessities and food.
Discounts of up to 70 percent are being offered.
Around 100 brands are taking part, including Sulwhasoo, Etude, Banila Co, CJ CheilJedang and Yes24.
Goods inspired by Netflix original “Squid Game” are also on sale. They include tracksuits, marbles and dalgona, a retro candy made by mixing melted sugar and baking soda.
“We look forward to getting lots of attention as we have prepared a lot,” said a spokesperson for Gmarket Global in a statement.
Gmarket Global plans to post videos featuring K-pop boy group AB6IX on its YouTube channel, Inssa Oppa. The members will introduce numerous products related to the Pepero Day, a romantic holiday on Nov. 11.
