Growing gas prices

A gas station in Seoul sells a liter of gasoline for 1,823 won ($1.54) on Sunday. The national average gasoline price in the first week of this month was 25.2 won higher per liter compared to a week ago, due to the continuing rise in crude prices. However, starting Nov. 12, fuel prices are expected to see a slight drop as the government's 20 percent cut on fuel taxes over six months will go into effect. [YONHAP]
