HYBE, the global entertainment powerhouse which represents BTS, is establishing an independent music label called All Doors One Room (ADOR) and will launch a new girl group under it, the company announced Friday.

HYBE’s CBO Min Hee-jin was appointed as the CEO of ADOR.

HYBE previously co-established music label Belift Lab with CJ ENM in 2019 and acquired other music labels such as Source Music, Pledis Entertainment and Koz Entertainment to expand its intellectual property (IP).

However, ADOR marks the first time that HYBE is creating an independent label by itself.

ADOR is set to reveal its first girl group by next year. Dubbed the “Min Hee-jin girl group,” the members will be participants from “Plus Global Audition,” an audition project hosted by HYBE and Source Music. Min was involved in the overall creative directing and branding of the group.

The girl group is Min’s first major project since she joined HYBE, then Big Hit Entertainment, in 2019. Before joining HYBE, Min was a visual director for SM Entertainment and was known as a forerunner in the K-pop industry by bringing keywords such as “visual directing” and “concept” into the limelight. She was in charge of directing girl groups such as Girls' Generation, F(X), Red Velvet and boy bands SHINee and EXO.

“As the CEO of ADOR, I have finished my preparation for another revolution in the music market and the launch of a new label,” Min said in a press statement. “Our label won’t hesitate to accept new challenges and strive to create artist IP and content containing ADOR’s unique philosophy.”
