Shindong of boy band Super Junior tested positive for Covid-19, his agency Label SJ said Friday.
“Shindong was confirmed as a close-contact with an infectee, tested positive on Thursday and is now in quarantine,” Label SJ said. “He had no contact with other members of the group and has adjusted his schedule accordingly.”
According to the agency, Shindong received the one-shot Janssen vaccine and was scheduled to receive a booster shot next week.
“[Shingdong’s] path did not overlap with any of the members,” the agency made clear. “The rest of the members have all been fully vaccinated.”
Shingdong debuted in the boy band in 2005 and gained popularity after appearing in a number of variety shows. He is currently appearing in the second season of SBS Plus’s “Love Master” (translated).
