Hyundai Card applications can be made in English on app
Hyundai Card said Thursday that it started an English service in its mobile app so non-Korean customers can easily apply for card issuance through the app.
Previously, customers who do not speak Korean had to call customer centers for card applications or try to use the mobile app in Korean. This often led to a misunderstanding of benefits and general information related to different card products.
Customers can use the English service by changing the language settings in the existing Hyundai Card mobile app.
The card company said applicants for the card can use their cards almost immediately, as assessment and issuance will take less than a minute. The card will be issued as what’s called an app card, a digital card embedded within the app.
