BHC completed the acquisition of Outback Steakhouse Korea, it said on Thursday.
The company said it bought the family restaurant chain on Wednesday for around 250 billion won ($223 million) from SkyLake Equity Partners. The private equity group chose BHC as the preferred bidder in July.
The Australian-themed Outback Steakhouse is headquartered in Tampa, Florida.
BHC runs various restaurant chains, including Changgo43 and gramgram beef restaurants.
It said that it hopes to become “a comprehensive dining company” through the acquisition of the Outback Steakhouse Korea.
Outback Steakhouse Korea’s net profit last year was 17.85 billion won, up 42 percent on year.
