Jiyoon of girl group Weeekly will resume her activities after a four-month hiatus, said IST Entertainment on Tuesday.

Jiyoon took a break from her activities in August due to struggles with anxiety.

“Thanks to your warm support and consideration, Jiyoon has been able to focus on recovering her mental health for the past four months,” said IST Entertainment via social media. “Weeekly will resume its activities from Dec. 15 as a complete seven-member group.”

According to the agency, Jiyoon, her family and medical professionals have been discussing her comeback and concluded that the girl group member is now fit to resume her activities.

Via the fan community platform Weverse, Jiyoon also addressed fans.

“During my break, I did my best to recover my health,” she wrote. “I also exercised and studied. Now that I’ve taken time to look back on myself with honesty and take the rest I needed, I am confident that I can do better from now on.”

Weeekly debuted in 2020 with its EP "We Are."
