BTS’s Suga tested positive for Covid-19 on Friday, his agency Big Hit Music confirmed via a statement.

Suga returned to Korea from the United States on Dec. 23, and took a PCR test upon his arrival.

“Suga received his second dose of a vaccine in August,” read the statement. “Currently he is not displaying any symptoms of the virus and is receiving treatment from his home [...] As he tested positive while self-quarantining, he has not been in contact with the other members.”

Big Hit Music assured that it would do its best to support Suga’s treatment and comply with the public health authorities’ guidelines.
