'Spider-Man: No Way Home' tops local box office for fourth week

Marvel's superhero blockbuster "Spider-Man: No Way Home" topped the Korean box office for the fourth week in a row, according to the Korea Box Office Information System (Kobis) on Monday.
"Spider-Man: No Way Home," which hit local theaters on Dec. 15, 2021, garnered 300,000 moviegoers between Jan. 7 and 9. The movie has accumulated around 6,598,000 in ticket sales, according to the information system run by the Korean Film Council (Kofic).
The runner-up was crime drama "The Policeman's Lineage" starring Cho Jin-woong and Choi Woo-shik, which surpassed 370,000 in ticket sales.
"The Policeman's Lineage" was followed by the animated musical film "Sing 2" (2021), spy action comedy "The King's Man" (2021) and romantic comedy "A Year-end Medley" (2021).
