Whee In's second solo EP tops iTunes Top Albums charts around the globe

Whee In of girl group Mamamoo's second solo EP "Whee" topped the iTunes Top Albums chart in 18 regions, according to her agency The L1ve on Monday.
Released on Sunday, "Whee" took the top spot on the chart in Brazil, Brunei, Costa Rica, Hong Kong, India, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Mexico, Peru, the Philippines, Romania, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Taiwain, Thailand, Turkey and Vietnam.
The EP also ranked No. 2 in Colombia, No. 4 in Bahrain and Denmark, No. 6 in Cambodia, No. 7 in Ireland and No. 8 in Canada.
Shortly after its release, the lead track "Make Me Happy" also topped the iTunes Top Songs chart in eight nations: Bahrain, Brazil, Chile, Indonesia, Peru, the Philippines, Saudi Arabia and Singapore.
Rapper Ravi of boy band VIXX, who also heads The L1ve, wrote the music and lyrics of "Make Me Happy."
Whee In debuted in 2014 as a member of Mamamoo through the group's first EP "Hello." She made her solo debut in 2018 with her first single "Magnolia" and is known for songs "Easy" (2018), "Good bye" (2019) and "Water Color" (2021).
