Son Naeun will not be partaking in the promotional activities and performances of her girl group Apink’s upcoming album due to scheduling issues.
According to her agency YG Entertainment on Tuesday, Son will not be participating in the upcoming activities for the special album due to complications with scheduling. The exact reason was not specified.
The special album is scheduled to drop in February. The exact date of the release is unknown.
Son will still appear in the music video and the jacket cover of the special album.
Son debuted in 2011 with girl group Apink, which gained popularity with hit songs like “Mr. Chu,” “NoNoNo,” “LUV,” and “Dumhdurum.”
Son is the only member in Apink who has transferred agencies after the group’s contract expired in early 2021. The other five members re-signed with IST Entertainment. Son is now represented by YG Entertainment.
She is currently starting in tvN’s drama series “Ghost Doctor.”
Son, along with the rest of Apink, held a fan meeting last December to celebrate the group’s 10th anniversary since their debut. During the fan meet, the group announced that it would be making a comeback with a special album.
