Rookie girl group Kep1er is becoming an international sensation, ranking on top global music charts within just two weeks of its debut. 
 
Kep1er’s title track “Wa Da Da” of its debut album “First Impact,” made it onto Spotify’s Global Top 200 chart on Sunday, ranking 195th.  
 
“Wa Da Da” subsequently made it onto Billboard’s World Digital Songs Sales chart, Billboard Global Excl. U.S. chart and Hot Trending Songs chart on Tuesday.  
 
Kep1er’s EP has also set the record for the highest-selling album of a rookie girl group with some 200,000 copies sold in the first week of the album's drop.  
 
The group also took home two wins from Korean music shows after performing “Wa Da Da” on Mnet's “M Countdown” and KBS's “Music Bank.”
 
Kep1er is a girl group composed of the nine finalists of Mnet's audition show "Girls Planet 999," which aired from August to October last year. It made its official debut on Jan. 3.
 
According to the rules of the audition show and Kep1er’s contract, the group will only be active for the next two years and six months.  
 
Comprised of nine members, Kep1er’s Yujin, Chaehyun, Dayeon, Youngeun and Yeseo are Korean, Xiaoting is Chinese, Mashiro and Hikaru are Japanese and Huening Bahiyyih is Korean-American.
