Korean President Moon Jae-in, right, and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi are greeted by an honor guard at a welcome ceremony in Cairo on Thursday ahead of their summit talks on trade and the economy, transportation and renewable energy, among other bilateral issues. Moon will attend a business forum and also discuss a feasibility study for a bilateral FTA. This marks the first trip by a Korean president to Egypt in 16 years and is the last leg of an eight-day, three-country trip which also took him to the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia. Korea also agreed to resume FTA negotiations with six Arab nations in talks with Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Secretary General Nayef bin Falah Al-Hajraf in Saudi Arabia Wednesday.
