More YG Entertainment artists test positive for Covid-19

Several more artists from YG Entertainment tested positive for Covid-19, according to the agency on Thursday.

Jung Chan-woo of boy band iKON and Choi Hyun-suk, Junkyu and Mashiho of boy band Treasure all tested positive.

According to the agency, all of the infected artists have been fully vaccinated and they are showing no serious symptoms.

Treasure had been gearing up to return to the music market with its upcoming album “The Second Step: Chapter One” on Feb. 15. The agency said that the band had finished recording the songs, filming the music videos and practicing its choreography. It did not elaborate on whether or not the album's release will be delayed.

On Sunday, three members of iKON — Kim Jin-hwan, Song Yun-heong and Kim Dong-hyuk — were confirmed to be Covid positive. In the following week, Lee Seung-hoon of Winner, iKON’s Koo Jun-hoe and Treasure’s Yoshi were also confirmed to have tested positive.
