Freestyle Skiing is one of the most diverse disciplines at the Winter Games, with freestyle skiers competing in six different events — aerials, halfpipe, moguls, ski cross, slopestyle and, for the first time in Beijing, big air.

Three Korean freestyle skiers will compete on the halfpipe — Lee Seung-hun in the men’s competition and Jang Yu-jin and Kim Da-eun in the women’s competition.
Lee and Kim head to the Winter Games after a successful run at the International Ski Federation (FIS) Junior World Championships.

At the junior event, Lee won Korea’s first-ever men’s halfpipe silver medal and Kim won Korea’s first-ever women’s halfpipe bronze medal.
