Actor couple Lee Byung-hun and Lee Min-jung test positive for Covid

Actor Lee Byung-hun and his wife actor Lee Min-jung have tested positive for Covid-19, Lee’s agency BH Entertainment said Wednesday.

According to BH Entertainment, Lee Byung-hun “took the test as he was not feeling well and was confirmed positive on Feb. 7.” It added that he has no major health issues other than minor cold symptoms. It said that Lee was fully vaccinated and had received a booster shot.

Due to Lee’s positive result, filming of tvN’s drama series “Our Blues,” in which Lee will appear as a lead role, has been temporarily put on hold but will resume soon as all crew and actors tested negative. The drama co-stars actors like Shin Min-a, Cha Seung-won, Han Ji-min and Kim Woo-bin.

Lee Min-jung tested positive while she was in quarantine because of her husband, her agency MSTeam Entertainment said Wednesday. She is also fully vaccinated.

The couple is being treated at home.
