Actor Kim Shin-rock to appear in Disney+ original series 'Moving'
Actor Kim Shin-rock from Netflix Korea’s original series “Hellbound” is set to appear in Disney+ original series “Moving.”
“Moving” centers around children with supernatural abilities who hide their powers from the world and their parents.
Kim will portray a character named Yeo Woon-gyu, who remains behind the scenes but is willing to do anything for the success of her missions.
The actor earned global fame through “Hellbound,” which was the first Netflix project by director Yeon Sang-ho from “Train to Busan” (2016). She portrayed the character Park Jung-ja, who is suddenly condemned to hell by a mysterious floating entity. She earned praise for her realistic portrayal of a single mother who wants to protect her children from the media while grappling with the fear of someone on the brink of death.
Kim debuted in 2004 and was mainly active on stage until she made her starred in tvN drama series “The Cursed” which director Yeon scripted. Since then, she has been active in theater, television and on streaming platforms.
“Moving” is set to be released exclusively on the streaming platform in the latter half of this year. Adapted from a webtoon with the same title by famous cartoonist Kang Full, the series has a star-studded cast including Zo In-sung, Han Hyo-joo, Cha Tae-hyun and Ryu Seung-ryong.
