A high-strength steel plate is manufactured with hot stamping technology at Hyundai Steel's Yesan plant in South Chungcheong. Hyundai Steel announced Thursday that it successfully mass-produced the world's first ultrahigh strength steel that can withstand over 100 kilograms of force per square millimeter, which was developed in partnership with Hyundai Motor's Namyang R&D Center in Gyeonggi.
