Enhypen’s Sunoo and 2AM’s Jo Kwon tested positive for Covid-19, the boy band members' respective agencies said Friday.

Sunoo’s agency Belift Lab announced the news on the fan community platform Weverse.

Sunoo was exhibiting symptoms of a fever and cold, so he took a PCR test on Wednesday which came back positive. He had two jabs of a Covid-19 vaccine.

“He does not have other symptoms besides coughing and a sore throat and is undergoing treatment according to healthcare officials’ guidelines,” Belift Lab said.

The other six members of Enhypen tested negative and are not exhibiting any symptoms.

In September last year, all members of the band, except Sunoo, tested positive and recovered from the virus.

Sunoo originally had plans to host the EBS FM radio show “Listen” starting Jan. 13, but has delayed it one week due to his quarantine.

Enhypen debuted in 2020 as the finalists of Mnet’s music survival television program “I-Land” (2020). The band consists of seven members: Jungwon, Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo and Ni-ki. It debuted with the EP “Border: Day One” and has released songs such as “Given-Taken” (2020), “Drunk-Dazed” (2021) and “Tamed-Dashed” (2021).

Jo tested positive a day before the band’s concert, his agency Cube Entertainment said.

“Jo Kwon tested positive in a test kit yesterday, so he took a PCR test, which also tested positive,” the agency said.

Jo has received three shots of a vaccine.

2AM was set to have concerts on Saturday and Sunday, titled “2AM Concert 22 S/S.” It is the band’s first concert in nine years. They have now been canceled.

Jo is said to be in quarantine and will recieve treatment.

As one of the few ballad boy bands, Jo debuted in 2008 as part of 2AM and released hit songs such as “This Song” (2008), “Never Let You Go” (2010) and “I Was Wrong” (2010). The band has four members — Jinwoon, Jo Kwon, Seulong and Changmin. 2AM is also known as the “brother group” of boy band 2PM.
