Actor Heo Sung-tae [HANAHREUM COMPANY]
Actor Heo Sung-tae tested positive for Covid-19, his agency Hanahreum Company said Friday.
“On Thursday, after Heo was in contact with someone who was confirmed with the virus, he took a test which came out positive,” the agency said in a statement. “He took a PCR test and tested positive today.”
Heo has received two jabs of a vaccine.
All his plans have been canceled.
“Heo is not exhibiting any particular symptoms,” the agency added.
Heo is best known as the mobster Jang Deok-soo in Netflix’s “Squid Game” (2021). He has also appeared in the JTBC television drama series “Beyond Evil” (2021) and Netflix original sci-fi series “The Silent Sea” (2021).
