Low-end boom

Sales of high-priced apartments decreased early this year, while those of mid and low-priced apartments rose. According to data from Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport, 68.5 percent of the 963 Seoul-based apartment transactions made this year through Feb. 12 were for those priced below 900 million won, compared with 54.3 percent in December.
