Comedian Moon Se-yoon tested positive for Covid-19, according to his agency FNC Entertainment on Tuesday.
The agency said that Moon had initially taken a self-Covid test after experiencing a mild sore throat on Monday. When the results of the self-kit came out positive, he immediately went to the hospital to take a PCR test which also came out positive.
“Moon has been vaccinated twice and has put all his activities on hold,” said the agency.
A staff member from “2 Days & 1 Night” said that while the pre-recording of the show which was scheduled this week will be canceled, the program has enough pre-recorded material for the show to air normally.
Moon is currently a regular member of four shows — “2 Days & 1 Night, “Comedy Big League,” “Amazing Saturday” and “Delicious Guys.”
Moon, 39, debuted in 2002 as a comedian on KBS’s “Gag Concert.” He joined the “2 Days & 1 Night” crew during the program’s fourth season in 2019.
