Korea beat Denmark 8-7 in an uncomfortably close game at the National Aquatics Center on Wednesday night, keeping a slim chance alive that Team Kim could still advance to the semifinals in the curling tournament at the 2022 Beijing Olympics.

Team Kim were unable to secure their victory until the very last stone of the night, securing two points in the 10th end to edge out Denmark in what turned out to be a closer game than expected.

While Korea's draw rate wasn't an issue, take-outs were an increasing concern throughout the game, allowing Denmark to crowd the house more often than Team Kim would have liked.

But a win is a win and it keeps Korea theoretically in contention for one of the two semifinal spots still available with one game left to play.

Korea now has four wins and four losses so far in the nine-game round robin tournament. With only the top four teams advancing, Korea will need to win its final game and ideally some key opponents lose for Team Kim to advance.
