'SNL Korea' skips eighth episode after host tests positive for Covid-19

"Saturday Night Live Korea (SNL Korea)” decided to skip its eighth episode scheduled for Feb. 19 after the host Gabee tested positive for Covid-19, according to the comedy show on Thursday.

“All of the cast and staff members underwent self-testing, and we canceled filming as the host tested positive,” said SNL Korea. “As a result, we canceled episode 8 which was set to air on Feb. 19.”

The show also skipped its episode for the first week of February after five people in the cast and staff tested positive.

Gabee is a professional dancer best known for competing on Mnet’s all-female dance competition show “Street Woman Fighter” (2021) as the leader of dance crew Lachica.

"SNL Korea" previously aired on tvN from 2011 to 2017, then came back as a reboot in September 2021 on streaming platform Coupang Play.
