Samsung Heavy Industries has won a 998.5-billion-won ($840-million) deal to build four liquefied natural gas carriers.

The deal was signed with a shipper based in Africa, the company announced via a regulatory filing Wednesday. The name of the buyer was not disclosed.

The four carriers will be delivered to the buyer by September 2025.

The order target for the shipbuilder for the year is around $8.8 billion, and the latest order is nine percent of the total. Samsung Heavy booked $12.2 billion of orders last year, exceeding its annual order target of $9.1 billion amid the pandemic.
