Brave Girls to release new music on March 14

Girl group Brave Girls surprised fans Wednesday, announcing the date of its next release.

Brave Entertainment revealed a teaser photograph of a waiting area with just six empty seats and a date that reads March 14. It did not reveal any other information, such as whether the new release is going to be a full-length album, an EP or a single.

The group’s release will be the first in about seven months. In August, Brave Girls released a repackaged EP of its fifth EP titled “Summer Queen,” that was released two months prior. The EP's title song “Chi Mat Ba Ram” took the No. 1 spot on multiple different music streaming outlets, and its music video attracted over 30 million views within the first 10 days of its release.

Brave Girls debuted in 2011, but rose to popularity when its 2017 song “Rollin’” went viral in 2021. The original members left the group after it was met with lukewarm success. The four current members — Minyoung, Yujeong, Eunji, and Yuna — debuted in 2016 as the group's second generation.
