Boy band Tomorrow X Together, otherwise known as TXT, will enjoy a mini sports day with its fans in the metaverse later this month, according to the band’s agency Big Hit Entertainment on Tuesday.

“Play X Together" will be held on March 26 on a metaverse platform called ZEP.

A total of 100 fans will be able to participate in the event. On the day, they will be put into teams of 20 with one TXT member assigned to each of the five teams.

They will compete with each other in various games such as tag and bursting open a piñata.

The members are expected to communicate actively with their fans during the games as they will also be participating. It will be unlike other K-pop metaverse fan events where usually only the fans enter the platform.

Livestream broadcasts of the TXT members participating in the event will also be released.

The metaverse space is decorated to look like sets from TXT's music videos, said the agency.

More details on ways to participate in the event can be found on TXT’s Weverse page.

TXT debuted in 2019 with the song “Crown” and has five members: Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun and Huening Kai. The band’s latest album was “The Chaos Chapter: Fight of Escape,” which was released in August with the lead song “LO$ER=LO♡ER.”
