Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas and InterContinental Seoul COEX
Through March 14: Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas and InterContinental Seoul COEX in Samseong-dong will sell two types of limited edition cakes for White Day while also showcasing a giant Rose Wall decked out with 10,000 roses under the theme of "Romantic InterContinental." The "Blooming Rose Chiffon Cake," which was sold during Valentine's Day promotion and had 2.5 times the sales of the previous year, will be available again for this White Day. Cake sales are typically higher on White Day than on Valentine's Day, therefore it is predicted to be very popular this time as well.
From March 7 to 14, two types of White Day special cakes will be offered at Grand Deli and the InterContinental Seoul COEX Lobby Lounge. First, the "Amour Rouge Cake," which was first introduced for the promotion, is a strawberry filled fresh cream cake covered with fresh strawberries, fresh blueberries and roses, and encircled by red-colored strawberry chocolate, signifying its name, "Amour Rouge," or "Red Love." It is ideal for sharing one's feelings with your significant other as it resembles a gift box with a love letter.
The "Blooming Rose Chiffon Cake," which has been brought back for this White Day season due to its overwhelming popularity, has a romantic touch as it is topped by a fully-bloomed rose and garnished with rose-petal shaped white chocolates. Fresh cream and fresh strawberries are sandwiched between silky chiffon, and it is topped with pink-colored fresh cream made from strawberry puree and sweet vanilla bean cream.
Furthermore, both hotels' Club Lounges offer special romantic photo zones and flower arrangements so that customers can enjoy the romantic mood with their significant others during check-in and check-out, Afternoon Tea, or Happy Hours at night.
Finally, the hotels will hold giveaway events for customers who visit before March 14, offering a chance to win free stays and buffet vouchers.
Through May 31: Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas and InterContinental Seoul COEX announced their plan to offer a room package that includes a one-night hotel stay and Afternoon Tea To-go perfect for an outdoor picnic to welcome the spring season. As early check-in of 2:00 p.m. is available for the package; guests can also privately enjoy the afternoon tea in their room. The Afternoon Tea To-go, introduced for the first time in May last year, has been recording continuous growth and this year's monthly sale average is up by 150 percent compared to last year. The popularity has led to this package promotion.
Grand InterContinental Seoul Parnas presents "Royal High Tea To-go Package" prepared under the theme of strawberries. The package includes a one-night stay at a spacious studio-type Junior Suite and 11 types of tea foods packed in a specially designed to-go box, including strawberry desserts, such as strawberry and citrus tart, green tea and raspberry cake, strawberry and banana pudding, roasted pollack roe and avocado and scallop and cauliflower puree. The foods can be picked up at the Lobby Lounge & Bar on the ground floor from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and the "Royal High Tea To-go Package" starts from 440,000 won ($358) (tax and service charge included).
InterContinental Seoul COEX offers "Afternoon Tea with Lescure To-go Package," which provides an afternoon tea takeout service prepared in collaboration with top-quality AOP-certified butter brand Lescure from the Poitou-Charentes region of France until the end of March. Guests can stay for a night in a Classic Room and pick up afternoon tea including 6 types of desserts with rich buttery scents and 4 types of savory dishes at the Lobby Lounge on the ground floor from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. A butter-cookie-scented handmade plaster type air freshener specially made by InterContinental in collaboration with Lescure is also included as a gift. The package starts from 220,000 won (tax and service charge included).
Finally, the hotels hold giveaway events for customers who visit the hotels before March 14 to win accommodation and buffet vouchers by lottery.

Grand Hyatt Seoul
Through March 14: The hotel's premium bakery The Deli has prepared a White Day special cake that can be a surprise present to loved ones for the upcoming White Day season and a rosé and sparkling wine promotion to highlight the romantic mood
The White Day cake "expresses the beautiful and pure love between the lovers by the shape of pure white heart, decorated by sparkling gold powder, and beautiful butterflies" explained the hotel bakery chef. In contrast to the white and smooth surface of the cake looking infinitely sweet like white chocolate, the cake's name is Red Fruit Lime Cheese Cake. In between the lime syrup sponge sheets of the cake, there is a candied lemon and refreshing lime cream cheese mousse layered with a mixed berry compote, richly providing suitable balance of sourness and sweetness at the same time. The Red Fruit Lime Cheese Cake is sold in two sizes — a single slice for 10,000 won or a whole cake for 60,000 won (tax included). In addition, the classical White Day gift of a box of chocolates (nine per box) is also available at the Deli for 28,000 won (tax included).
The Deli offers 24 kinds of diverse rosé and sparkling wine from Italy, Spain and France at discounts of up to 50 percent, starting from 15,000 won (tax included) during March. The soft sparkles and moderate sweetness of the sparkling wines are usually favored by many and combined with some dessert like Red Fruit Lime Cheese Cake, they will make a perfect match for a White Day present.
Purchases can be made through Naver reservations or by on-site visits. The rosé and sparkling wine promotion will be held until March 31st and will only be available on site.
