Indonesia's third Paris Baguette store opened, in Jakarta, with another opening by the end of March.

The country's third Paris Baguette branch opened Wednesday on the first floor of the Pondok Indah Mall in South Jakarta. The bakery is 162 square meters (1,743 square feet) in size.

Era Boga Patiserindo, a joint venture between Paris Baguette Singapore and Indonesia's Erajaya Food & Nourishment, operates the bakery franchise in Indonesia. The company was established in October last year, making Indonesia the seventh country to get a Paris Baguette.

The Pondok Indah Mall branch will sell the bakery's regular pastry range, but will have a selection of dishes, such as mushroom risotto and spicy seafood pasta, found at no other store in the country.

A date for Indonesia's fourth branch wasn't announced, but is expected to open at end of March.

The soon-to-be-opened branch will be 132 square meters in size and will open on the first floor of Summarecon Mall in Bekasi, a city that lies east of Jakarta.

Paris Croissant, which owns Paris Baguette, is owned by Hur Young-in and his family, the controlling shareholders of Korea Exchange-listed SPC Samlip.
