J-Hope of BTS has tested positive for Covid-19, according to the boy band's agency Big Hit Music Thursday.

“J-Hope tested positive on a PCR test,” Big Hit Music revealed through its fan community platform Weverse.

According to the agency, J-Hope visited a hospital to receive a test after coming down with a sore throat.

He has received three doses of a vaccine.

“J-Hope feels no other symptoms except for a sore throat and he is currently being treated and self-quarantining at his home,” the agency said. “Other members of BTS do not have any symptoms.

“J-Hope will rejoin the band next month after he finishes his quarantine,” the agency added.

He is the sixth member of the septet to test positive for Covid-19. Only Jungkook remains uninfected.

BTS is scheduled to head to Las Vegas to attend the 64th Grammy Awards on April 3. The band is nominated for Best Pop Duo/Group Performance for its track “Butter” (2021).

BTS will hold four concerts on April 8, 9, 15 and 16 at the Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
