Girl group ITZY has filmed another reality program with Mnet, JYP Entertainment announced Wednesday, following the success of their previous show “Paris et ITZY” in 2020.
“ITZY will be appearing in a new Mnet reality program from May,” said JYP Entertainment in a statement. “The girls have completed all the filming.”
JYP Entertainment and Mnet have not revealed what kind of reality show it will be, or even whether it would be in a format similar to “Paris et ITZY,” in which the girls traveled together.
As the girls have a series on their own YouTube channel called “ITZY Vlog: Hello 2022,” where they share moments of their daily lives, fans are expecting the new reality show by Mnet to bring something different.
Meanwhile, ITZY is gearing up to drop its first Japanese EP “Voltage” on April 6. It will consist of four songs, including the title track "Spice." Following the release, the girls will have their first official fan meeting at the Yes24 Live Hall in Gwangjin District, eastern Seoul, on April 9.
ITZY debuted in the local music industry in 2019 with the song “Dalla Dalla.” Its other hits include “Icy” (2019), “Wannabe” (2020), “Not Shy” (2020), “Mafia in the Morning” (2021) and “Loco” (2021).
The group's members are Chaeryeong, Lia, Yeji, Yuna and Ryujin.
