Treasure will embark on its first Japanese tour next November, its agency YG Entertainment said Friday.
“Treasure will begin its Japan Arena Tour at the Hokkaido Prefectural Sports Center on Nov. 26,” YG said in a statement.
The tour will go through Jan. 4, 2023. The band will perform 17 times in six places: Hokkaido, Fukui, Aichi, Fukuoka, Hyogo and Saitama.
“Treasure will meet with an audience of 155,000 people on this tour,” YG said.
Treasure debuted during the pandemic, in August 2020, with the song "Boy." The band was formed during JTBC and YG’s audition show "YG Treasure Box" in 2019. The band has twelve members: Choi Hyun-suk, Jihoon, Yoshi, Junkyu, Mashiho, Yoon Jae-hyuk, Asahi, Bang Yedam, Haruto, Doyoung, Park Jeong-woo and So Jung-hwan.
The band recently topped the iTunes Albums charts in 30 regions including Canada, Japan, Australia, India, Mexico and Russia with the EP "The Second Step: Chapter One" (2022). It will hold concerts on April 9 and 10 in Olympic Park's Olympic Hall in Songpa District, southern Seoul.
