Tomorrow X Together’s Yeonjun is one of the new hosts for SBS’s weekly music ranking show “Inkigayo” (2000-), Big Hit Music said Monday.

Yeonjun appeared on Sunday’s episode along with actors Roh Jeong-eui and Seo Beom-june. The trio will now be hosting the show until further notice.

The show has a tradition of having new hosts present a special performance. The three hosts performed BTS’s “Boy With Luv” (2019).

“I’ve always enjoyed watching ‘Inkigayo,’ and it’s such an honor to become a host for it,” Yeonjun was quoted as saying by his agency. “I’m looking forward to what lies ahead. I hope everyone enjoys the chemistry Jjooniejjoon [the nickname for the three new hosts] will have.”

“Inkigayo” airs every Sunday.

Yeonjun debuted as the eldest member of Tomorrow X Together in 2019 with the EP “The Dream Chapter: Star.” The band has continued to drop hits such as “Crown” (2019), “9 and Three Quarters (Run Away)” (2019) and “Can’t You See Me?” (2020).

The band has five members: Yeonjun, Soobin, Beomgyu, Taehyun and Huening Kai. Its latest Korean album was “The Chaos Chapter: Fight or Escape,” which was released last August with the lead song “LO$ER=LO♡ER.”
