Pinkfong Company to host dance project with K-pop stars
The Pinkfong Company will launch a new collaborative dance project with K-pop stars titled “Dance Alive.”
The entertainment project will stars perform and sing along to songs by the company including “Baby Shark Dance” (2016), targeting consumers such as children and the MZ generation (millennials and Generation Zs born between 1996 and 2010).
The first artist revealed for the project’s line-up is dancer Aiki, the leader of dance crew Hook who shot to stardom through Mnet’s dance competition show “Street Woman Fighter” (2021). Aiki and the Pinkfong Company will host performances and dance classes based on K-pop songs and children songs based on the company's intellectual properties (IP).
Content for “Dance Alive” will be released via its official YouTube channel from Friday.
The Pinkfong Company recently made Time magazine’s list of “100 Most Influential Companies of 2022” along with K-pop powerhouse HYBE. Its animated choreography video for “Baby Shark Dance” became the first YouTube video to exceed 10 billion views.
