Boy band BTS [HYBE]

Boy band BTS won Top Duo/Group, Top Song Sales Artist and Top Selling Song at the Billboard Music Awards (BBMA) on Sunday, the group's sixth consecutive year receiving at least one award at the BBMAs.

On Sunday prior to the ceremony, Billboard announced the winners via its social media page. BTS was nominated for Top Duo/Group, Top Song Sales Artist, Top Billboard Global Artist (Excluding U.S.), Top Selling Song, Top Billboard Global Song (Excluding U.S.) and Top Rock Song. Two of the boy band’s hits, “Butter” (2021) and “Permission To Dance” (2021), were nominated for the Top Selling Song category, totaling seven nominations. “Butter” took the award.

The boy band did not attend the ceremony held in Las Vegas, reportedly focusing on its upcoming album “Proof” set to drop next month.

BTS has won at least one award every year since 2017, when it received Top Social Artist for the first time. This is the band’s third time winning Top Duo/Group, and second consecutive time winning Top Song Sales Artist and Top Selling Song, following “Dynamite” (2020).
