Bullying allegations against Le Sserafim's Kim Ga-ram escalate

An alleged image of an official school document showing that girl group Le Sserafim member Kim Ga-ram was the perpetrator of school violence started circulating online Monday.

The document shows that a committee was called to deal with a case of school violence and recommends measures to deal with the offender, listed as “Grade 1 Class 3 Kim Ga-ram.”

Kim, who debuted as a member of girl group Le Sserafim earlier this month, has been dealing with accusations of bullying since last month. Her agency Source Music has been denying the allegations and claiming that Kim was in fact the victim of malicious rumors and cyber bullying during her time in middle school.

Source Music told local news agency Yonhap on Monday that “there are no changes to our stance that we stated previously.” It added that it “started taking legal measures and the specifics will be revealed through the legal process.”

Le Sserafim consists of six members: Miyawaki Sakura, Kim Ga-ram, Kim Chae-won, Hong Eun-chae, Kazuha and Huh Yun-jin. The group debuted with its first EP “Fearless” on May 2.
